Would this be good cooked in a crockpot?

I was thinking of cooking 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, seasoned with garlic salt in the crockpot with two small cans of corn and some butter on high for 4 hours. I would serve this with Rice-A-Roni.

Do you think this would turn out okay? Could I cook the Rice-A-Roni in the cookbook with the chicken, or would it cook too fast?

I also have a can of cream of mushroom soup, two cans of tomato soup, and some noodles, so if anyone knows any recepies involving these ingredients that would be appreciated. Thanks!

Sounds okay, but I hope you plan on cooking the chicken at least a bit b4 doing this
If not, try eight hours ( and I would still be iffy as to how well its cooked)

here is a recipe, never tried it
Rotel Chicken

4 large chicken breasts, or whole chicken can be used

1 pkg. McCormick’s Taco Seasoning for Chicken

1 can Rotel tomatoes,

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 8 0z. pkg. spaghetti noodles

1 lb Velveeta cheese, cut into small cubes

Put chicken in crockpot, sprinkle with taco seasoning, add about 1 cup of water.

Cook on high for a few hrs till done, cut into bite size pieces.

Add rest of ingredients. Cook on low for about 30 minutes till noodles are done. Add more water if needed to cover noodles.

The cheese will melt and everything should be stirred in well.

You can cook the chicken w/ the canned corn. Just be sure to use the liquid from the cans as well.

You coudl also do chicken in the crockpot, along w/ the cream soup and a can of water or milk, a chopped onion (or some dry onion flakes), and maybe some baby carrots.

I’d do the Rice A Roni on the stove top. Noodles, too.

I’m not a fan of chicken and corn mixed (think KFC Bowls…gross!) but otherwise it sounds good! I also agree to either pre-cook the chicken a little or do it for 8 hours.

not enough taste to it try this one instead

I think 4 hours is more than enough time to cook a chicken breast, since there is no bone in it. I think you can even add the cream of mushroom soup and it would make a thick stew like dish and it would go great with the rice.
