will cayenne pepper repel future dog urine from killing the grass?

Dogs in my neighborhood frequently pee on my Kentucky Blue Grass lawn. I’ve been told that sprinkling cayenne pepper on the lawn will prevent future stains on the lawn. Is this true?
I’ve just sprinkled cayenne pepper on my front lawn, where neighborhood dogs urinate. I suppose I’ll need to sprinkle pepper again after watering. Is there something more “lasting” that I can do to make my lawn unattractive to dogs?

The pepper only lasts until you water your lawn so no, go to Pet Smart they have a spray you can put on that dogs don’t like.

Rotflmao………lord NO!!!
Nothing but quick dilution of the urine w/COPIOUS amounts of water will stop the NITROGEN BURN!!!
&…a fence will prevent future spots.

I don’t know about the pepper, but I have seen motion sensor sprinklers that can deter animals from coming onto your property. If you want to buy one of them I would shop around as the prices I saw varied quite a bit.
