Why do people use corn syrup to make fake blood?
I know that i sound dumb. But i’m just curious. I need to know what corn syrup do and why people use it for fake blood. Thanks for any answers.

I think it has to do with the consistency of the corn syrup. It is not too runny or thick, and food coloring seems to mix well with it.
Dalbax has it right. Corn syrup is very viscous and will stay where you put it. Also, it is sweet, so if you use it near your mouth it will have a pleasant taste. It is non-toxic, so if you get it in your eyes it will not damage them.
And dogs like it!
