Why do I get chest pains after drinking soy milk?
I really cannot handle drinking regular milk, my stomach always hurts. So I switched to soy milk and I’ve been drinking that for a couple of months. But now I noticed that shortly after I drink soy I get sharp chest pains. Why is this?
No I don’t think it’s heartburn, it’s a different kind of pain. Usually heartburn lingers awhile for me but with the sharp pains it’s only for a couple of seconds and then it goes away. But when it occurs it hurts.

I don’t know, but you should stop drinking soy milk. Maybe goats milk would work for you – most grocery stores sell it.
I have the same problem you do, but with me regular milk gives me stomach AND chest pains. I heard thought that soy milk gives you gas! so i don’t see how it would help your stomach, but the gas could go up to your chest area, that’s what gas does sometimes, so that might be it. Try lactaid, that didn’t work for me either .. i’m a lost cause ..
Maybe its heartburn?
