Why are people afraid of organic soy milk?
I don’t understand why organic 946 ml soy milk is being bottled in plastic now. The plastic is polyethalene, an oil based product. That alone sounds scary to me. What happened to glass or cardboard cartons. Would love comments.

Maybe its cheaper even though it is polluting. I love Silk chocolate Soy milk and it comes in a carton =)
Glass containers cost more and require deposits and a sterilization process before re-use. Unfortunately people prefer to pollute the environment in order to save money.
Many products are packaged in PETE. It’s a cost-saving measure. Soda and milk have been packaged in PETE for a long time.
I’ve seen them in tetrapak for a while.
