almonds, walnuts, and cashews in that order

I think almonds as long as you don’t eat too many. A handful a day is plenty.

Almonds by far are the best!!!

I was told 15 almonds a day….max.

And it’s better to get the ones that are still in the shell. MUCH better for you.

Almonds are the most nutritious, cashews are the most fattening

Of the nuts that you have on the list that you have given, for nutrition purposes, almonds followed by pecans are the ones that are most healthy. The others on the list, cashews and pistachios are of insignificant nutritional value.

All nuts have valuable protein and all have fat, but it is good fat. Almonds have the most antioxidants. They also have good vitamins and minerals.

RAW almonds. See Barry Sears’ stuff on almonds or macadamia nuts for their important omega 3 and monounsaturated fat content. Roasting the almonds ruins the omega 3′s. Lots of zinc and other minerals too, and vitamin E.
