You would use dry pistachio pudding mix and add crushed pineapple with the juice and mix it up. Then you would fold in the whipped topping.

PISTACHIO PUDDING SALAD
Ingredients
1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, including juice
1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can chunk pineapple, including juice
1 (3 1/2 oz. ) box dry instant pistachio pudding
1 (9 oz. ) Cool Whip
2 c. Miniature marshmallows
1 (8 oz. ) pkg. pecan pieces [optional]
Preparation
Mix all ingredients well and chill.
