My daughter has a sorrel (chestnut) and wanted hot pink…I thought it would be hideous! I was wrong, it’s quite striking. We got her pasture halter at TSC and her rope halter with a little bling on it off of ebay.

also try going to your local tack store and seeing if they have any you like. it would probably cost less because there will be no shipping payment there. they usually have a pretty good supplies of halters and leads there.

but i think a deep purple would look good. deffinitelky stay away from orange and red with a chestnut.
also i think a royal blue would look adorable like this.

you could go to doversaddlery.com but if you have a tractor supply around that would be the best place to go. My friend has a chestnut horse and she always finds a way to get her halter off. So far they’ve used red, light blue, lime green, hot pink, and are on turquoise (they got them all from tractor supply) right now and they all looked really good on her!

I say a bright color, maybe pink,blue,green. anything bright!
