What type of soy milk would you recommend for someone who likes 2% milk?

I tried this soy milk (for the first time) today and it was disgusting. I could not stand it. It was vanilla natural silk soy milk. Any recommendations? thanks.

Don’t bother with any “vanilla” flavoured ones. You don’t flavour your milk with vanilla, do you?

Try “natural” or “original” flavoured. It will taste more similar to milk. Not as sickeningly sweet and not flavoured like vanilla.

Try a different brand, they all taste different, until you find one you like. Alternately, try almond milk or rice milk. In my opinion, almond milk tastes a lot better than soy milk.

You may want to try the original Silk soymilk, the light version.
Or try almond or rice milk.

Okay, well try the chocolate soy milk. It’s actually tasty. There is also fruit flavoured soy milk…
But if 2% is your favourite, maybe see if the regular/natural soy milk tastes for you. If not, try out almond milk, or rice milk.

Soy Milk is already a very thin, smooth, and sweet drink. So drinking vanilla flavoured soymilk isn’t the best thing if youre craving something more along the lines of the stuff from the cow :]

I buy organic soy from cosco, and like it very much. The various brands that carry Soy Milk products are going to differ in taste, so try a few. Just know that rice and almond milk also tends to taste sweeter.

p.s. if you want a gentle segway into soy, i would reccommend having it in cereal first (because the milk in bowl is already so sweet due to the sugar from he cereal).

what?? that is the best there is, have you tried plain soymilk, the taste is just like the name… plain, so i think silk vanilla is one of the best, or try chocolate silk, i have not tried it so idk, but just try!

I’m with Angie – starting with it on your cereal is a great way to go. However, I’m going to have to say that vanilla is a better starter soy milk than original because it cuts out a lot of the chalky taste.

Oat milk.
It tastes pretty much identical to the 2% variety.

silk fortified with dha and omega three is the best soy milk i have found out there. and i’ve tried alot!

I used to despise soy milk. But you have to keep drinking it and you will wince at the taste of cow’s milk in no time.

I would reccomend silk’s light 80 calorie soy milks. The taste more similar to milk than the regular(and thats why I don’t like it lol)

I used to HATE soymilk too. But after drinking a little everyday for about a week, I began to love it! My favorite is Silk Vanilla Soy Milk.

You could also try rice milk, almond milk, or hemp milk.

drink the unsweetened Soy milk if available anywhere here in Leading Supermarkets and Asian Markets it’s $2.40 a 1liter that’s what i drink if i don’t want to eat Breakfast or Snack or avoiding Pork’s and Fatty Foods’ in a glass full i add 1 equal or splenda or sugarfree chocolate’ because i avoid also too much sugar’ i take sugarfree ok”

I like rice milk best. But none of it is going to taste like cow’s milk… just get used to it as something entirely different with a unique flavor. Personally, I think vanilla soymilk tastes the most like cow milk. Rice milk does not taste like cow milk, but I enjoy it. Almond milk is good too. Soy milk is also not supposed to be very healthy.

I actually think Silk is the best, but you can try 8th continent if you like.. It’s a little to sweet for me. You could also try rice milk, though it’s very starchy.
