what type of flax plant is used to make linen?
I am looking for the particular seed name of flax used to grow for the fiber in linen? I am not for sure if it is the wild blue flax or a different flax. I am looking for it so i can buy the seeds thanks for any help.

One comment a "what type of flax plant is used to make linen?"
Linen is a textile made from the fibers of the flax plant, Linum usitatissimum. Linen is labor-intensive to manufacture, but when it is made into garments, it is valued for its exceptional coolness and freshness in hot weather.
