What to do with all these Pistachio shells?
I love pistachios and the create alot of waste. Does anyway know of a way to reuse these shells in a productive non-harmful to the environment way? Serious answers only please.

I don’t know of any use for them but since they are biodegradeable I don’t think you have to feel guilty about just throwing them out with your other food waste.
P.S. If you buy them already shelled you don’t have to give it a second thought!!
Mulch? Pine bark, Cocoa husks, etc. Why not pistachio shells? You may start a trend!

btw, there’s an artist somewhere from the south (don’t recall his name) but he used crushed pecan shells to create small modelled characters…many collect his sculptures (or whatever they are called).
