A while ago I got 2 yeast infections in a row and treated them. A couple weeks later I thought I was getting another one, but before I bought any medicine, I bought some Activa Yogurt and ate it every morning for breakfast and I never ended up getting a yeast infection. So now I eat it every day in hopes that it’ll prevent one from happening again! Hope that helps.

Apparently some sort of natural live yogurt to fight the infection x

You want to eat any unsweetened yogurt with this printed on the label: “Contains live active cultures.” Some women have also found relief putting it in or on their vagina.

The live active cultures are actually good bacteria that keep bad bacteria from causing an overgrowth of yeast in the vagina. As an alternative you can also just drink some acidophilus bifidus milk, which is also a probiotic (good for you). It can be found in most major grocery stores.

Personally I’ve found it cheaper and better to drink the milk. It took days on the yogurt and didn’t keep it away. The milk works within 24 hours but I always drink the whole carton to be sure. The infection will go away and stay away if you stay on the milk.

The reason you should always go for unsweetened yogurt is because sugar feeds yeast. You don’t want that.
