What kind of house food can I feed my baby bass (about 10in. long) perch and freshwater shad?
I have a trough with 1 baby bass 1 adult freshwater shad and 3 perch. What kind of food can i feed them without going to a fish store?

Those fish should be frying on the stove!
bread, chopped up shrimp, try some veggies. Honestly my bluegill eat just about everything, but you may want to get some fish pellets sometime. the ones for pond fish are pretty cheap.
- Tiny pieces of chicken or beef (for protein)
- Pieces of shrimp
- Uncooked clean pieces of vegetables (i.e. romaine lettuce, spinach, cucumber, shelled cooked peas, green beans, zucchini and carrots)
Don’t feed them bread as someone stated. Bread expands and can cause stomach problems.
