What is your opinion of this foal?
I bought a solid black percheron mare.. she is breed to a sorrel and white spotted, gaited mammoth jack.. he is about 15 hands.. a large jack.. what color do you think this mule foal is likely to be and do you think it will be gaited like the jack and make a nice trail mount?

According to , you could have a solid black, bay, or sorrel foal, or a black, bay, or sorrel spotted foal. Obviously its going to be a pretty stout little booger! lol. And I would say that you have about a 50/50 chance of being gaited or not.
If you put effort forth into the foal, he will be good at whatever you want him to be good at.
