What is the difference between sugar and natural sugar?
For example, what is the difference between sugar in pudding, and sugar in an apple. Is natural sugar good for you? Also, how many grams of sugar should the average person take in per day?

Non natural sugar is made of chemicalss
Natural sugar is not bleached and is usually in larger chunks. No other difference.
You inadvertently answered your own question…one is natural and one isn’t!
Natural sugar is much better for you than non-natural sugars, and natural sugar can be considered a ‘good carb.’ Good carbs basically mean complex carbohydrates; your body digests them longer and at a slower rate, whereas simple carbs– like plain white sugar– is digested much more quickly, and is likely to give you a spike in the amount of insulin in your blood.
Try to eat as little of added sugars (like white sugar, corn syrup, etc.) as possible. About half of your daily calories should come from good carbs, like whole grains and natural sugars like the ones found in fruit.
