What is the advantage to eating almond butter?
I recently saw a jug of almond butter at a local Costco. The only ingredient shown on the label was almonds. Is almond butter healthier or taste any better than regular ol’ peanut butter (whose only ingredient is peanuts)?

Almond butter is a mix of almond oil and butter. It makes an equivalent amount of the mix have less saturated fats and additional protein.
the only way to really benefit from butters, like almond or peanut is to buy organic RAW butter. this way, it’s simply pressed nuts w/ no sugars or additives/preservitives. nuts contain oil & fat, so either way, you shouldn’t eat a lot of it, but it will be less fattening than buying the commercial stuff or even the roasted kind.
TASTE GOOD!
I don’t know. !
but peanut butter, has some BAD health problems, and allergy reactions that hospitalize some people.
But I know AB is used in pastries like bear claws.
I tried almond butter once and thought it would be really good…I like the natural peanut butter muuuuucccch better. Almond butter is a little higher in calories and fat than peanut butter…one serving of almond butter is 1Tbsp, 1 serving of peanut butter is 2 Tablespoons.
