what is a good side dish for chicken teriyaki?

I’m making a chicken teriyaki with my own marinade consisting of teriyaki sauce, lemon juice, garlic, and sesame oil. I’m thinking of having either a Japanese meal or even a Mediterranean meal but I’m not exactly sure what to serve on the side – so I was wondering if anyone out there has any good ideas thanks

rice and steam cabbage and carrots.

Tempura vegetables, and rice or noodles.

Rice with brocolli, egg drop soup and a fortune cookie.

Couscous is also a fun dish to make and very Mediterranean as well.

Try placing some of your marinade aside and mix it with the rice. It couldn’t hurt. It sounds delicious.

Rice or Angel hair pasta, fry the pasta after you cook it in a little oil of your choice but sesame oil is a good one. Fry the pasta just a few minutes and add salt, pepper and garlic.

My husband makes a pineapple fried rice that I LOVE! Or what about a cold sesame noodle dish?
