What did you eat for thanksgiving dinner? Do you have any unique traditions?

this was mine and my husband’s first thanksgiving as a married couple. we made dinner and ate w/ my husband’s little brother and best friend. we made:

filet mignon (sp?)
lobster
garlic mashed potatoes
corn on the cob
rolls
a cheeseball w/ crackers
iceberg salad w/ ham, cheese, croutons, peppers, mushrooms, and ranch
deviled eggs
pickled beets
mt dew
cranberry/apple juice
pumpkin pie
white chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies
and i have dough ready for oatmeal chocolate chip cookies

we’ve decided that our traditional thanksgiving dinner is going to be steak and lobster.

Turkey, lots and lots of turkey!!!

We had gumbo mostly but we had some traditional Thanksgiving foods.

Wow you had a great feast.

Today it was just me, my husband and the dog. I made a very

nice turkey and
my Grandmother’s and Mother’s dressing recipe (I would be heartbroken if I could not make this in remembrance of my loved ones). It is cornbread and kind of TexMex Cajun – all my family are from a little town in Texas on the border of Louisiana
a great giblet gravy,
cranberry sauce from real cranberries and
a cranberry cake.

Tomorrow I will make a pumpkin pie – we feast all weekend

My dog at a lot of Turkey

We are all too full but have so many left overs
