What can I make for dinner with these ingredients?

I have pretty much any oils and spices i’d ever need, including some fresh garlic and onions, etc.

I have some bone-in chicken breasts I want to cook, some corn on the cob that needs to be eaten before it goes bad, some russet potatoes that need to be eaten, some brocolli that definitely needs to be eaten, and half a pound of muenster than needs to be eaten within the next couple of days.

Any ideas?

I’d take the corn off the cob and make a nice Chicken and Corn Chowder with it all. It all will marry wonderfully and be very tasty.

You can use this recipe and if you have it, add a little bacon, or can use just your sauteed chicken instead.

Cube about 1 inch thick, your chicken, and sautee in a little butter and olive oil till done. Set aside to add to Chowder.
Bacon Corn Chowder

6 strips bacon, diced
3/4 cup diced celery
1 small onion, diced
1 cup diced uncooked potato
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup milk or heavy cream, or half and half
1 (14 3/4 ounce) can cream style corn- or use your corn cleaned off the cob
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon pepper

In saucepan, cook the bacon, celery and onion over medium heat until the bacon is cooked. Drain. Add the potato and water. Cover and simmer 20 minutes or until the potato is tender. Stir in corn, cubed chicken if using instead of bacon, milk and seasonings. Heat through but do not boil.

You can sautee your broccoli with the onion mixture and make it Chicken, Corn and Broccoli chowder. Would be fabulous.

Just cook it all
set it ALL out on the table
and say, “grab whatever you want to eat”

and there ya goo.

Chicken Meyers

1 can cream of chicken soup
4 oz. mayonnaise
2 T. cream (or milk)
1 t. curry powder (even if you don’t like curry, this little bit just adds a little flavor)
salt and pepper.

Mix all that together. Layer the chicken in a single layer in a baking dish – leave an inch or so between the pieces. Chop the broccoli and put the florets around the chicken. Top with the creamy mixture. Sprinkle with 4 oz. of shredded cheese (I usually use cheddar, but the muenster would be good too!). Bake at 375 for 45-55 minutes – until starting to brown and all bubbly.

I normally serve this with rice or roasted potatoes. Mashed potatoes are good too.

make soup in a crockpot or stove top,
clean and chop your veggies(brocolli, potatoes, and an onion, and corn add 3 cups of water and boil for 15 minutes, meanwhile fix the chicken, put a 1/4 cup of flour , bread crumbs or crushed cornflakes, and some seasonings in a baggie, and shake the chicken in it ,then bake at 350, for 25 minutes while the chickens cooking , take the corn out, grate your cheese and add that to your veggies along with a cup of milk,, cut corn off of cob and add back to soup, put back on heat until the cheese is melted. goodluck enjoy.

Bake the corn in the husk, no soaking required in a 350 degree oven, for about 30-45 min.

Pound the chicken breast out and dip in seasoned flour, saute in a pan with garlic, onions and maybe even a little of the broccoli.

Give everything a good sprinkle of shredded muenster.
