Tell how the seeds of this plant would be transported to a place away from the parent plant?
Hi I’m in a biology class and we had to go outside and find different seeds, take pictures of them and tell how they would be transported to a place away from the parent plant.
Would you please tell how these plants would be transported away from the parent plant.
1. watermelon seeds
2. peach seeds
3. sticker seeds
4. weeds
5. squash seeds
6. bell pepper seeds
7. acorn seeds
8. sunflower seeds

Wind, and/or distribution via critters.
Critters eat the fruit (and some seeds) and defecate them elsewhere
1, 2, 5, 6
Critters gather the seeds and stash them away. The critters ain’t too smart and forget where they stashed them
7 & 8
The seeds stick to the fur of passing critters and eventually fall off.
