sunflower seeds? good/bad?



ive been eating lots of sunflower seeds lately whenever i feel like i mite binge, cuz if im bored ill go nuts, so it fills hunger and keeps my hands busy….will they make me gain weight, or help me loose?

The answer to weight gain or loss is highly variable and depends on what else you eat and how many calories you consume. In general sunflower seed and high in fat (9 cal/g) which pretty caloric dense. However, the good news is that sunflower seed have pretty good unsaturated fats in them so that’s good. They also have a respectable amount of protein (although incomplete).

So like everything else in life, the best advice is all things in moderation. If you eat too many sunflower seed that will be bad and you will get fat. How many is too many is dependent on what else you eat.

there fine for you… ALOT of people eat bags of it.. especially baseball players.. and they are seeds, they wont make you lose or gain weight

They’re actually very good for you.
But remember that too much of a good thing, can be a bad thing.
No matter how healthy things are, if you eat too much of it, you will gain weight.

i love them too-
but dont eat too much
just when ur really hungry
i usally dont eat lunch or dinner-
i just eat some almonds and sunflower-
and i feel normal-
and i havent ate meat in 2 weeks-
i feel totally normal-
and yes they re gonna make gain some weight
specially belly fat !!!!!!!! grrrrrr.
i hate it !!!!!!
