Sugar glider diet and foods?

I’m getting a sugar glider today, and I’m planning on feeding him the BML diet. Is this correct for its diet?
-1/2 cup Honey
-1 Egg (boiled or scrambled)
-1/4 cup Wheat Germ
1/2 cup dry baby cereal
-2 2 1/2 oz jar of Stage 1 or 2 Heinz, Gerber or Beechnut Chicken baby food
-1 4oz bottle premixed Gerber juice with yogurt
-OR 2 oz of plain yogurt and 2 oz of mixed fruit juice if item above cannot be found.
-1 Teaspoon of Rep-Cal HERPTIVITE vitamin supplement ,
[Blue label on a white plastic container]
-2 teaspoons Rep-Cal Calcium Supplement non-phosphorus with Vit. D3 in it.
[Pink label on a white plastic container]
-(OPTIONAL)1/4 cup of 100% pure Apple Juice

I found this on a site, this is the correct recipe right?
Oh, and if I don’t have a blender, can I mix it in a different way,
or do I NEED a blender?

I also can feed him fruits and veggies with this?
What can I replace bugs with? I know I have to feed
him bugs but my mom isn’t so hot in that. =/
ANY advice would be nice.
I also know they can eat Apples, Pears, Sweet Potatoes, watermelon, low sugar cereals like Special K, yogurt, fruit juices, sunflower seeds, white rice. If i’m wrong on anything correct me. I’ve done a LOT of research for my suggie to feel right at home. Tell me anything! Because its just more information for me to be a better mom to him =]
Also, should I give him Monkey Biscuits for treats during the daytime? Thanks!

Yes, that is the correct recipe for BML. I would say yes, you need a blender. It would be hard to get the cooked egg mixed proportionally throughout the entire mixture without a blender. Same goes for most of the ingredients, but the egg in particular.

The BML is meant to be fed along with fruits and veggies. Per glider, you should feed 1 tablespoon of the BML mix, 1 tablespoon of fruits, and 1 tablespoon of veggies. If they clean their plates, add a little bit more of each. During the first week or so you own them, they probably won’t eat much. But you can decrease the amount of food you give until their appetites start to grow.

For bugs, if your mom isn’t good with live bugs, you can feed freeze dried mealworms. If she still doesn’t like that idea, you can feed unseasoned grilled chicken or egg for protein.

Also, the BML diet is so sensitive, that feeding monkey biscuits during the day could throw off the nutritional balance of the diet. If you want to give treats during the day, you can offer mealworms, fruit, veggies, licky treats such as applesauce and yogurt, and yogurt drops.

Also, is he the only one you have? If he is, you should get another one, as they’re very social animals and live in large colonies in the wild. You’ll need to read up on proper introductions and quarantine so that the new glider doesn’t give anything to the one you have already.
