Shortening-baking?
Im making cookies for my mom since its her b-day
The recipe asks for 1 cup shortening the only shortening i have is
and all my life we have used to grease the pan so the cookies dont stick. is it safe to put that in my cookies?

Yes, Crisco is shortening.
