Question about this recipe (vid)?

theres a video about how to make a chocolate lattice and the lady on the vid says you need shortening. she doesnt say a specific kind of shortening so is she talking about vegetable shortening? just need to know if the shortening she is refering to is vegetable or a different kind. thank you! =D

Any recipe referring to shortening, means vegetable shortening. Is there any other kind?
Yes, vegetable shortening like Crisco.
shortening is a solid vegetable shortening Like Crisco. Thats what I would recommend, but in this case you could also use lard which is an animal fat.
yes, white vegetable shortening. Crisco solid shortening is one brand available.

I would definitely but Crisco brand. When i made cake frosting you can really taste the difference between using Crisco or a knock off shortening! And I usually buy knock off brands for other things!!
