lowering BMI below 18%?

i strength train and do plyometrics and cardio, along with weight training and isometrics (6 days a week about 2 hours, cardio every other day, 1 day of rest). i would say i’m already on the average lean-ness side, and i’m trying to drop to 16 % to get to the super fit lean. i’m vegetarian and supplement my protein intake with whey protein, lentils, chickpeas, and fish. i drink plenty of h2o and i eat 6 small meals every day regularly 3 hours apart, i’m pretty healthy. i just want to know what another super fit persons eating regime is.
thanks a bunch!
i am not into doing things the easy way. i believe in working hard for results. also i am not looking to loose pounds upon pounds. i’m really in shape and just want to know how others lower their bmi’s to achieve that ripped appearance. basically how can i take the next step forward. thanks.

A BMI below 18 is underweight and being underweight can weaken your immune system and sap your strength, energy and stamina. Your diet is actually excellent but perhaps your calorie intake is too low.

Super fit people are very rarely underweight. Keeping your BMI at 18 would probably be OK but lowering it down to 16 could be a retrograde step. Perhaps you could experiment and if you feel weak and tired at a BMI of 16 that would indicate that your BMI is too low.
