		<description>While it&#039;s true, that they taste pretty much the same, they don&#039;t cook the same. Brown and black lentils need longer time, than orange and green - orange lentils will loose their colour rather quickly, and go mushy after just 10 minutes boiling.</description>

		<description>google lentils and you will see what they are silly^^  They are like beans.

  You can use any lentils.  I always mix and match and sometimes use a little of each kind to give the recipe some color.  They all pretty much taste the same to me.</description>
