is virgin olive oil from green or black olives?
I don’t eat olives so I didn’t know if green or black made any difference. Do they make any difference if you are making virgin olive oil and it is black or green olives?

All olives start green. Olive oil is pressed from green olives before curing.
Yes it comes from green olives. You can see that virgin oil is yellowish anyway.
black, ripe olives…the term “virgin” refers to the pressing process….the number of times….the oil…is processed…the clarity….purity….ex,ex,ex virgin olive oil….is the purest…most costly….but also the strongest oil….like everything in life…..”we’re all looking for something”…..just know what grade of oil….you want….and how much….you want to pay….is your olive oil concern….for health reasons???? is so that’s….a whole other topic…ripe for discussion…….
