is this a fattening recipe?
one package of dried lentils (soaked overnight)
2 cans of tomatoe paste
1 can of pastene tomoatoe sauce (fat free)
small amount of olive oil
small amount of grated cheese
a little salt
Is this fattening? How much could a person eat than?
You add all the ingredients and simmer of two hours. It is delicous and really warming and comforting to eat at night.

it dont sound too bad
no, it’s not fatthening, as long as you make sure your oil and cheese are small amounts. Lentils are very healthy!
What do you mean fattening? If you eat enough of anything you will gain weight.
This is a relatively lowfat recipe and it is high in protein. IF you look at it that way, then no, the recipe is not fattening.
Not at all.
It has good ingredients, and the fat in this recipe is good for you. The cheese in moderation is fine.
If there is fat in it, it is “fattening.” It isn’t bad though; you need a little fat for flavor and balance in your life
It’s an extremely healthy recipe. The lentils are a legume..full of fiber and complex carbs, the olive oil is monounsaturated and heart healthy, tomatoes are full of licopene(a strong antioxidant), and the tomato paste is also very high in fiber and licopene. The only “fattening” part to this recipe is the cheese, but it’s strong and flavorful so you don’t need to use alot. Sit down and enjoy it…you’re doing the body good.
(So good, I may make this too…my hubby’s been asking for lentils)
