Is there any grocery chain that sells good tasting bread that is wheat & dairy free?

After years of suffering I was just diagnosed being allergic to wheat and dairy. I am learning some but miss eating breads (my fav’s). Is there bread that is sold in a major grocery that is wheat/dairy free and actually tastes good?

i’m not sure but try Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods.

yes, “whole foods market”

Safeway , Publix , Pricechopper , Shop Rite , Hannafords , Tom Thumb they all sell it.

Trader Joes

Whole foods has a nice selection and sometimes they let you try a few.

Never heard of “wheat free” bread…well, other than corn bread and potato bread, I should say.

Oh, and then there is Banana Bread…mmmm, banana bread…however, that, tasty as it is, is NOT “good” food! ;)

If it doesn’t have wheat or dairy products in them, it is hard to be anything other than old-fashioned hot-water cornbread.

Make it yourself, I don’t know anyone who sells ready made cornbread.

Glutino makes a flax seed bread that is very good. Whole Foods carries it in their freezer section here or you can order it online at glutenfree.com Glutino makes several breads but this one is my favorite and makes a great toast.
