Is there a difference between the chocolate in a chocolate fountain and chocolate fondue?
i was wondering if the chocolate in a chocolate fountain is just chocolate fondue. or is there a difference?

no its the same. only chocolate fountains are prettier!!!
yes there is a difference,
Chocolate fountains usually use what is considered coating chocolate, a type of chocolate that rather then cocoa butter has fat (shortening, veg. oil etc) to keep it from hardening or blooming
Chocolate fondue, is not meant to be re-circulating so it is usually a purer chocolate and most likely contains a liquor.
Mmmmm… Not sure. Good question though. Any time a have a question about chocolate I go to He is an amaizing pastry chef. The web page is to his blog and in it he not only talks about sweets and chocolate he also answeres all your chocolate-yyy questions.
