Is the color of food?
Is the color of food (fruit, veggies, and meats) a good indicator as to what vitamins and minerals they have.
I.E. Kidney Beans=iron..Am I right and what are other examples? Just trying to moderate my diet

the darker the color the better fir you in veggie and fruits
Not necessarily.
You will find that the brightest colored fruits and veggies are healthier for you. But the color does not correlate to the vitamins in the food item.
Eat a variety of fruits and vegetables daily, add some whole grains and protein and you are set.
It doesn’t indicate right away necessarily but The *darker the veggie, fruit the better it is for you, so keep that in mind!
mm i dont think that it matters what color the food is but you never know
ofcrz it is…..if the food is bright and has delicious smell, then it is tasty in eating too….
not all the time i think healthy foods can come in all colors
