Is it possible to be allergic to corn fed meats if you are allergic to corn?

Senerio: Had various stomach problems for about 6 years, nausea & low motility. No idea what is causing this. Found out I’m allergic to corn, soy, dairy, wheat, peanuts & almonds.

Cut everything above out from my diet (including corn starch and corn syrup), still felt sick. Doctor decides to put me on a diet which excludes your daily beef and chicken because it is corn fed, instead eating only GRASS fed beef.

So, my question is, is this even possible? To be allergic to the meat becuase of what it’s been fed? I thought that when the animals eat the grain, it gets digested and absorbed in to basic carbohydrate compounds. Is the corn “embedded” in the meat of the animal? Is it true, (in this case) you are what you eat? I’m a bit sceptically…

Also, does this apply to pork and duck? Are they fed with a corn based grain meal too?

Thanks a bunch, this diet is NOT fun. Everything is rice based….Rice milk with rice crispies with a rice cake on the side…

Before you go nuts on a special diet and try cutting out every food known to man make sure they have ruled out all other possibilities. No other medical problems that might be causing this or irritating this. I am not sure about the corn thing, but it sounds like it may be the case. I know my daughter can’t have walnuts and if they have cookies or other nuts that have even been around the walnuts they get cross contaminated and make her sick. I would get a second opinion on your tummy problems.
