Is it okay to feed my cat nuts?

The entire family has been feeding my cat nuts and the question was raised today if feeding him nuts is okay for him. We generally feed him only cashews, peanuts, and minced walnuts. Is that okay or should we stop?

No!!!

He may get upset stomach and get diareah!

It’s a good way to make him sick. Cats don’t have the enzymes to digest vegetables and nuts. They eat meat. Don’t give him stuff that’ll upset his digestion.

Peanuts aren’t really nuts.. They are a legume.
I know people say that cats are obligated carnivores but really they are obligated omnivores.
They NEED both plat and meat to digest, just more meat then plant and some plant makes them sick. Feeding those type of nuts is fine.
It’s like humans we are omnivores BUT are obligated herbivores since we NEED plant food to survive but we don’t NEED meat to survive.
Trust me, a diet of JUST meat will make a cat sick, look at cat food it has both.

It’s not good for his stomach at all.

My cat loves nuts and ate about a handfull of cashews while I wasnt looking yesterday. He vomited a lot of it so I thought he’d be fine the following day but today he wouldnt eat, drink or move around. Im taking him to a vet in a little while.
Ill avoid giving nuts to my cat from now on. I hope he gets well. Im so worried
