I just think you should get a new pet. But if u really need help just go on a pet online site n look it up. :P

My dog like to eat carrots. So I say yes it is ok to feed your dog veggies.

IT’S O.K , JUST NOT ONIONS THEY CAN KILL YOUR DOG…

Some vegetables are ok for dogs. Watch how much corn or starchy foods he eats. He could get bloated or constipated. Avoid grapes or raisins as they can cause liver failure. Try mixing some plain cooked white rice in with the dry food.

Yes- dogs need vegetables in their diet. Cats do not. Cat food may be lacking some vegetation your dog needs, therefore he is craving veggies. Or maybe he just likes them- either way, they are good for him as long as he is not eating too much.

I heard that certain things like onions can cause cancer in dogs – be careful!

No prob. I’ve been feeding my dogs veggies all my life. It’s actually good for them.

I have a diabetic dog now that will fight you for a carrott. She likes the corn on the cob too. Treats it like a bone.

Just make sure he gets protein. You may have to feed him hamburger to get him to eat. My current pooch will eat roast beef, chicken and hamburger – but won’t touch dog food.

You should be careful what veggies you give your dog. Stay away from onions (and raisins even though they’re no a veggie) and stick to giving your dog some canned green beans once in a while. Usually they love them and eat them. It really healthy and helps out with keeping a proper diet for your dog.

If your dog is eating veggies all the time (like, tons of veggies, or in your mind, possibly, too many), you might want to call a vet and ask them about it. It could be that your dog needs a vitamin supplement.

If you continue to feed your dog lots of veggies, he’ll be even more likely to not eat his protein, which he needs more than anything. Talk to his vet about his diet…it’s really important to do it right…doing it wrong could shorten his life by years. BTW, I get my little dog to eat by coating his food with nice warm oatmeal or rice or egg…just enough to coat it…

Dogs should not eat cat food. There is taurine in it. They should also not eat onions. They can cause anemia. Your vet sounds kind of lame. There are dog foods for animals with allergies. You just have to know what they are allergic to, grains, chicken, lamb, etc.

Most veggies are OK, but should be finely chopped or pureed. Potatoes, pumpkin, carrots, green beans. You should not feed anything high sodium, fried, fatty, sugary. You could try mixing a favorite vegetable into a good quality dry food. Start with a little dry food and add more as he takes to it.

It’s ok. My dog never takes any dog food just food from us. He eats grass as well because dogs can detect remedies for them when they fall ill. So no worries, if human can be vegetarian, so can other mammals

First off, if your dog is allergic to dog food, there are many dog foods out there that help with allergies. First you have to figure out exactly WHAT ingredient he is allergic to. This way you can ask your vet to recommend the proper dry food for him. If your dog is eating vegetables that will not harm him. However, he couldn’t live on veggies alone because they do not provide a balanced diet for your dog. Try mixing the veggies in with the dry food once you determine the proper food to feed him. You may even consider a better quality dog food. Cheaper dog foods are made poorly and contain corn and grains which can trigger an allergy to begin with. Some good dog foods are Innova, California Natural and Wellness. Wellness makes a Duck and Potato formula that is really good for allergies. Like I said before, the veggies are good for the dog-as long as they’re not the dogs only diet. You also want to stay aways from giving the dog onions-they are toxic to dogs along with raisins, grapes and chocolate.

My Dog (he is a mini dashound) will eat every thing that I will eat and he is healthy and he loves grapes!!

Food– I would try wet dog food!!

You can give your pooch most things you can eat except: cocoa, caffeinated or carbonated anything, grapes, cherries, unbaked dough, beans, fat trimmings, dairy products, greasy food, corn kernels, dried peas, and onions. And corn is highly undigestible by dogs and it’s hard on their systems so I don’t recommend feeding it. But you do need to introduce new fresh foods slowly. I noticed when I first gave my doggies fresh spinach they got really bad gas; with apples they had the runs a little afterwards. I love to give my dogs fresh veggies and fruit, even though their kibble does have most of the good stuff in it already.

Veggies wont hurt your dog.if he likes them let him eat them.
We had a dog that would cry hysterically for believe it or not Cesar salad
