Is it normal to feel light headed after drinking soy milk?
I’ve felt light headed after drinking Eden Soy, Silk, Vita Soy, and Yeo’s. I used to drink Yeo’s when I was younger. After a while, I no longer felt weird after drinking Yeo’s. But now that I have moved on to “healthier” soy milk brands, I am feeling light headed again. Does this mean something? Should I stop drinking soy milk?

i drink soy all the time but it never hurts my head nor do i get lightheaded. try the chocolate silk it tastes like milk basically. but if that gets u lightheaded, then IF it was me, id stop drinking it. iono maybe allergies?
I’ve never felt lightheaded. I wouldn’t drink it until I found out the cause…I’d go to the doctor and tell them, and have them test for allergies.
Check the date on the bottom of the carton. If it’s still okay, then go to a docter, as you may be allergic to this bran of soy milk, or soy milk itself. None of us will be able to give you a true answer, but a docter will.
I doesnt sound very good to me.
I would stop drinking it if it has that affect.
Though i prefer whole foods anyway and try to steer clear of ‘milks’.
Is it a fortified milk? if it has iron in it, maybe its getting straight through to your brain. i know having too much spinach in vegetable juice can do that, and will make a person dizzy :/
Good Luck : )
I’ve never heard of that happening. Maybe it’s expired, it only lasts for 7-10 days after being opened. You should stop drinking it for now and talk to your doctor at your next visit. It could be a strange allergy.
You might have or be developing a soy allergy. Its important to know that MOST soy in the US and UK have been genetically modified, and are no longer a natural food. Unless the soy milk is CLEARLY marked NON GMO, then it has been spliced with DNA from other species of plants, insects, etc. to make it more resistant to pests during growing. GM soy and other GM foods are the leading cause of adult onset allergies. Have you tried almond or rice milk instead? I make them all homemade with non gmo grains and nuts. Keep in mind that allergies can get worse quickly if you continue to consume the offending food-I would give the soy a rest, if I were you, then try adding it back in slowly, if at all. I developed SEVERE allergies to it from consuming too much.
