If no butter, salt, oil, etc.is used, why does a fried egg have more calories than scrammbled egg?

They are both just heated right? Same material…just cooked differently.
My info comes from Calories.com…i wanted confirmation that a fried egg when cooked in non-cal, non-stick, spray would have the same calories…Calories.com have a different count for every egg cooked…perhaps they take butter and things into account?

It depends on how much oil you use to fry it or to scramble it. An egg has the same amount of calories no matter how its prepared, but its the things you add to it that makes it have more calories. Adding butter or oil to it is obviously going to add calories.

it doesn’t

prove your point…show us something to show the facts.

It shouldn’t make any difference. If you are using a non-stick skillet to cook both, it should be exactly the same.

Why do you think they are different?

the definition of frying is to cook something in oil. therefore you cannot fry without oil or butter. (btw, if you’re worried about the calories scramble your eggs and cook them in the microwave, no oil.)
