i was actually slimmer eating more junk food than healthy food? why?

i changed my diet a lot a year or so back, i never ate really unhealthy by any means, but i strated eating wholemeal everything and quinoa and buckwheat, included a lot more veggies e.t.c and cut out most frozen products.

i used to have things like hash browns, potato wedges, beef in gravy, beans, potato waffles most dinners, kind of typical food and i wasnt overweight or anything but just thought id try and be healthier.

i actually weigh a lot more now when most days il have porridge, a healthy sandwich snack on fruit and have quinoa or couscous and veggies e.t.c for dinner. i was thinking maybe its portion sizes?i guess calorie wise my meals were less before, what do you think?
