i want to lose weight healthily but my goal weight is very skinny?
i’m 5’5″ 130 lbs. my goal weight is 100-110 lbs. i work out at the gym about twice a week (3 times if i’m lucky; i can only go when my parents can take me) and i walk a lot. i was thinking of “zig-zagging” my calories (900-1200 each day), and eating foods like these:
Organic fruits and veggies
Soy products, beans, and nuts
Organic canola, olive and sesame oils, and coconut oil
Whole-grain cereals and bread, whole-wheat pasta, vegetable pasta, tortillas, brown rice, barley, quinoa, potatoes, and sweet potatoes
Organic corn chips; tofu ice cream; and desserts sweetened with cane juice, maple syrup, raw sugar, or other natural, unrefined products
Water, decaf green tea, and organic red wine on occasion.
A typical meal plan might look like this:
Breakfast: mango, banana, kiwi, and soy yogurt
Lunch: organic salad with lots of raw vegetables
Snack (a small serving from the approved list and only if necessary): exotic vegetable chips
Dinner: vegetarian Pad Thai
can i get to my goal weight like this and keep the weight off? or is this a stupid idea? (please answer seriously and don’t just tell me 100 lbs is too skinny i am determined to be that weight)

You have lots of healthy foods in your diet. The key is to make most of your diet raw, natural high fiber foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grain products. you can if you are very controlled with what you are eating, portion sizes etc. and exercise consistently
I got quite skinny by eating fruit and veg, bread, cereal, rice, pasta, yoghurt, nuts.
I also jogged and walked.
Maybe not 100lbs at your height unless you really really restrict your portion sizes
you will lose weight though either way with that kind of natural diet

Okay I won’t tell you that 100 lbs at 5’5″ is way way way too skinny. But only because asked us not to. You probably look really good right where you are. That Barbie doll look is way overrated. I’ve never been a girl, so I can’t really relate to why girls are so obsessed with being a skeleton. But I do know what I like.
