I want to cook a chicken casserole / stew. I have the following ingredients?

Fresh Chicken fillets
Green beans
Potatoes
Pasta
Corgettes
Leeks
Chicken stock cubes and gravy granules.

There’s only a small shop nearby so I couldn’t get everything I thought I needed. Can anyone point me in the right direction of what to do? It needs to be ready in about 4 hours!

Thanks a lot

No problem at all
You can do it oriental style

or very English.. casserole the Chicken and leeks in stock, thicken with the granuals just before you serve them with mashed potatoes and steamed or boiled vegetables. Dish up the chicken and veg and pour over the gravy.

For oriental, slice the chicken and fry in a table spoon of oil stirring all the time take out the chicken and set aside fry off the chopped leeks sliced courgettes and beans in the oil put back the chicken and add dissolved stock cube in water thicken with granuals. The chicken has to bee cooked through but the veg can be served slightly crunchy. It takes more time chopping than it does cooking

You could re heat that later in the microwave and

serve with freshly cooked pasta (orientals would use noodles)

For a casserole:

I would cube the chicken, then brown in a skillet.

Prepare about 1 cup each, chicken stock and gravy, add to chicken, add cut beans.

Now you can either make pasta and add to the mixture, transfer to casserole dish, then bake.
Or transfer the chicken mixture to casserole dish and top with prepared mashed potatoes and bake.

Add shredded cheese, onions and garlic if you have, and of course seasonings.
