I need to have dinner made for my bf in 4 1/2 hours from right now what do I make? Ingredients inside?

Ok I have the following in my fridge and cupboard:

Chicken tenderloins (going to be the meat)

tomatoes
bagged salad
mozz cheese
spinach
onion
carrots
canned corn
canned peas
canned green beans
potatoes

apples
grapes

brown rice
noodles

salt
pepper
chicken seasoning
sugar

bisquick baking mix
egg whites/egg product in a carton
soy milk

ranch and italian salad dressing
honey coated almonds

I have never cooked before, we are starting a new diet so I told him I would make dinner for tonight (when he gets out of work) and I have never cooked before (cept spaghetti and stuff) but I want to make a nice dinner. I am asking if you could help me put something together out of all these ingredients and maybe give cooking instructions?

Thus far I am thinking maybe almond coated chicken in maybe a nice salad? The problem is that we do not have a grill, just 3 pans: sauce pan, skillet and a big pot. We are college students haha so thats why our kitchen is so basic but please help!

Here are several recipes you can cook with the chicken:

Why? Is he going to slap you around if dinner isn’t on the table when he gets there? Don’t panic….you’ll have something ready.

Best recipe site is allrecipes just type it in and once you get to the site type in chicken or almond chicken and it will tell you exactly what to do you can even adjust the reciepe to how many people you want to feed Good Luck I love to cook

Just slice the mozz and tomatoes and lay em down mozz-tom-mozz-tom… Then some italian dressind on top and you’ve got an entrĂ©e.

Cook your rice and then cool it off. meanwhile make cubes of the carrots. Add this to the rice together with the canned peas. you can put the chicken in the big pot with the lit on top. this will also work.

if you had four or bread crumbs you could dip the chicken in the egg and then put in a plastic bag with flour or bread crumbs and shake it… then put a little oil or butter in a fry pan and fry the meat…..
you could bake it in the oven in a 400 degree oven with salt pepper, and your chicken seasoning for 30-45 minutes
you can do a salad with cut up tomatoes, onion, carrots, and mozzarella cheese. with your italian dressing.
you can make either mashed potaoes, cut them in cubes and boil in water for approx 20 minutes or until tender, drain water, add salt, pepper, soy milk and butter and mash with a mixer or a masher, or take the cooked cubes and drain water, and sliced onion, and salt, pepper, and italian dressing, and throw in the fridge for about an hour to chill.
you could heat up your drained canned veggies too…..
you could also chop up your almonds really fine and dip your chicken in the egg, and shake in a bag with your chopped almonds and pan fry!!!

I have a easy dinner for you!

If you have oil, heat teaspoon of oil in big pot until whole pan gets hot, add chopped onions to a stew pan, cooking until translucent, If you do not have oil, just use a little bit of water, about half a cup. Add 2 cups water, potatos and carrots washed chopped and peeled and chicken washed and chopped into little bites and the chicken seasoning. cook until tender. when everything is nearly tender add dained canned peas and corn. Salt and pepper to taste and let simmer for 10 mins until everything is warm.

You now have a pot of chicken soup, to this you can add different things to make it a little better, one cup of brown rice (very healthy and very good!) noodles if they are egg noddles, or you can bake bisquick baking mix into biscuts to go with it.

If you would like a side dish to this, make a small salad with the bagged salad and spinach, tomatos, and some of those honey almonds chopped and a grate of carrot.

For dessert fresh fruit!

If you want to make this though get going on it now! the longer the soup sits together the better the flavors get, just make sure after things are nearly cooked you turn off the heat, and reheat right as he is coming home so it looks like you spent all day on it!

Also another easy side dish is to add onion tomato and some of the cheese together with the italian dressing to make a fresh meditranian style salad. Also great in the summer with fresh basil and cukes in a balsamic dressing and some crusty bread. :)
