I have had a lump in my armpit for 4 days. It seems to be getting smaller. I poked it with a needle, and a?
little bit of white semi fluid like paste came out when I squeezed it. Is it a swollen lymph node, zit, boil or what? It’s about the size of a kidney bean now.

Your lymph nodes are there watch out for infection! if it gets worse consult a doctor right away. There is as disease that brings lumps to the armpits but usually you get it when your around 30.
I HAD LYMPHNODE CANCER, GO TO A DOCTOR AND GET IT CHECK OUT. I DONT KNOW HOW OLD YOU ARE, BUT MINE STARTED WHEN I WAS IN MY PUBERITY STAGES. THEY FOUND OUT THAT I HAD AN ALERGY TO CATS. I HAD TO GO THROUGH 4 OPERATIONS TO GET RID MINE. ITS NOTHING TO MESS AROUND WITH. ALSO IM NOT TRYING TO SCARE YOU, BUT IT COULD ALSO BE THAT YOU ARE GETTING SICK, AND YOUR LYPMHNODES ARE SWOLLEN.
sometimes you can get lumps in places, most of the time it doesnt mean anything major. i’ve had the same thing you’ve had before. and it just went down and i was fine. but go to the doctor if you’re worried about it x
A painful swelling in the armpit of the size you described is most likely folliculitis aka an infected follicle. Don’t squeeze it, you could spread the infection. It should go away on its own in about two weeks, and you can help contain/reduce the infection with a daily application of Neosporin. Should it last much longer, make an appointment with your doctor.
You need to see a doctor to find out what is causing the problem.
