How to keep dry roasted peanuts fresh?

I have a glass jar of dry roasted peanuts made by planters. After opening it, what is the best way to keep them fresh for the longest? Should I keep it in the glass container in the pantry or put them in the freezer? I only use peanuts for cooking so I probably will not need them again for a few months so I would like to keep them good for as long as I can.
