If it’s truly spaghetti you have, this recipe is quick and easy.
If you have a tubular pasta, this is a great recipe and bakes in the oven:
You can make a spaghetti lasagna by putting layers of al dente cooked spaghetti, bechamel sauce, ricotta cheese, mozzarella and spaghetti sauce, topped with parmesan and baked in the oven just like a lasagna. Kids love this and it is simple to make, semi home-made and inexpensive.
Look up the recipe of the bechamel sauce online or use this:
Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in pot, add 3 tablespoons of all purpose flour, mix and cook for 1 minute, this will make a roux. Add 4 cups of hot milk little by little, mixing as the roux thickens with the milk, until all milk is incorporated. Bring to a boil and season with salt and nutmeg.
Use as many recipes of the above as needed. This is the way of not getting a lumpy bechamel sauce.
Good eats!
