How to add essential oil to a bottle of lotion?
I bought a 16 oz bottle of lotion. It says you can add 1 tsp of essential oil to 16 oz of the lotion. How do I add it? Just pour 1 tsp essential oil into the bottle? Wouldn’t the oil just float on the top? Surely I don’t want to empty the bottle and mix the two then put back to the bottle.

pour it in and shake it. it should all meld together, especially after a few days.. Another way, which I prefer, is to simply mix in your palm a drop of two of the oil with your lotion before applying it. This way, you have the effect of the smell of the pure oil.
Yes, you will need to remove some of the lotion so that you can shake the essential oil and the lotion to mix. Yes, it will want to sit on the top. No, it won’t mix itself.
