How much yogurt should I let my son eat?

My son is 3 and he’s crazy about yogurt! It’s his favorite thing to eat and he wants it all the time. I know that yogurt can be good for you but I’m wondering how much is too much. What kind of problems can come from eating too much yogurt?

I think that a five gallon bucket at a time should be the limit…

Well only that it’ll make you put on weight, but considering he’s 3, there’s nothing to worry about. The calcium will be really good for his teeth and bones. It’s even better if it’s the natural yoghurt. (:

As much as he wants has long as its vegan:]

it’s ok, as long as it’s soy yogurt!

Depends on the sugar levels. Some yogurts are fine, but the ones designed for kids and the novelty ones are very high in sugar. If it’s natural, then it wil be grand. Just keep an eye on his sugar intake.

I live on the same street as a dairy farm. The cows suffer overcrowding, dark, wet, filthy conditions with no room to move, never setting hoof on soft fresh grass, only cold, wet, filthy cement. They suffer mastitis, illness and disease in these desparate and inhumane conditions. The smell itself is one of such filth and sickness, it is overwhelming, nauseating, heart-wrenching and depressing every time I drive past it.
Antibiotics, hormones, blood and pus is what is in dairy. Mastitis is the source of the blood and pus. I am now a vegan and can literally taste the pus in any dairy. Lactose intolerance is found in most adults and children, causing irritability, bloating, gas, acne and skin conditions, lethargy, impaired concentration, stuffy nose and mucous clogged throats and sinuses.
2 things I notice here. Your son seems addicted to the dairy (and likely the sugar), which could also mean he is addicted to the drugs and hormones in the dairy itself. Secondly, and most importantly, he is likely craving fresh, sweet, succulent, juicy fruits. Most yogurts are fruit flavored. Children naturally want soft, sweet and water-filled fruits from nature unless we program them to become used to meat, dairy and processed foods. Replace his yogurt with hydrating juicy watermelon, summer peaches, autumn pears, earthy plums, sweet and soft potassium rich bananas, exotic figs, sultry blackberries, fresh sunny raspberries, energizing oranges, crispy apples, musky beta carotene rich cantaloupes and honey- flavored honeydew, delicate antioxidant-rich blueberries, electrolyte filled baby coconut water and soft tropical baby coconut meat, island papaya (great for digestion!), sweet happy mangos, delicious ripe pineapples, succulent red, green and purple grapes, creamy buttery avocados and soo many more!
Learn how to make delicious green smoothies for yourself and your son which will give you such energy and vitality, calcium, iron, and so many more nutrients from these dark, chlorophyll-rich leafy greens. Green smoothies are fruits and leafy greens blended together to make a sweet, creamy heaven which will infuse your cells and body with life! Because the cellulose is broken down through blending, they are extremely easy to digest.Try leafy greens such as kale, romaine, red and green leaf lettuces, baby spinach, swiss chard, celery, spicy arugula, watercress, dandelion leaves, etc. Make thick fruit smoothies to replace the yogurt, and I guarantee your son will love it!
Replace cows milk with almond, oat, hazelnut or hemp seed milk! Either buy it your natural food store or make it yourself at home. All you need is a blender, nutmilk bag, nuts or seeds, and water! Blend with sweet dates, pure vanilla extract or scrape a vanilla bean, cinnamon, whatever your heart desires!
I recommend using organic produce as much as your budget can permit, and shop for ripe, mostly seasonal produce at farmers markets and natural food stores. Read some books and articles by Frederic Patenaude, Victoria Boutenko (book Green for Life) and Dr. Douglas Graham (book 80/10/10)
I have not been sick with even a cold in over 8 years. My family and the people around me consistently get sick, yet I seem to escape it somehow, which I attribute to a healthy immune system. I do not get flu shots, yet they do. I have cut out nearly all processed and junk foods, all meat, dairy, fish and animals. I am a vegan and I eat mostly raw, fresh produce. I have so much more energy now than I ever did. Every time I eat processed, sugary, salty, foods now, I immediately feel lethargic and irritable, bloated and unwell. Processed junk foods also cause me to binge eat! Through trial and error I have finally realized that the key to good health is a mostly raw/steamed, vegan diet with VARIETY. Choose vivid, bright COLORS when it comes to your produce and food! Ever realize how processed and animal foods are always brown, tan and shades of blah? I guarantee your son’s yogurt has artificial coloring to give it any colour! Regular exercise, early to bed and early to rise, lots of water and plenty of time outdoors in nature, too, will give you both better quality of life.

yogurt is good for health. so don’t worry.

Let him eat until he craps his pants.
