One comment a "How much peanut oil can be extracted from a pound of peanuts?"

couldn’t find an explicit answer, however . . . . . . .
A typical peanut yield is about 2000 pounds per acre.

Typical oil yield per acre is about 113 gallons

Therefore it is going to take about 18 pounds of peanuts to produce 1 gallon of oil.
