How long should you keep trout that has been canned in jars?
How would you know if it has gone bad? Would it be cloudy, or what? Please help, husband just opened a container of trout that was canned in 2002. I think we might have some canned trout that was canned in 1997 too.

wow, throw that stuff away. and, in the future, don’t buy canned fish, or chicken. it’s just plain nasty.
