How is soy milk made? and why is it safe for people who are lactose intolerant like myself to drink?

Is there an ingredient added or taken out of milk to make soy milk?

Lactase (lactose) is an animal product, Soy is a plant therefore there’s no lactase in it and you can’t react to it. Not sure exactly how it is processed to look and (sorta) taste like milk though. Some people are allergic to soy products though (like myself). It can cause migraines to rashes to all other kinds of common allergic reactions. If it works for you, great!

i dont know how its made but it doesnt envolve milk and because of that there is no chance of lactose is in it

WELL, FIRST YOU FIND A COW GRAZING IN A SOBEAN FIELD, AND YOU MILK IT. LOL JUST KIDDING…..
ACTUALLY YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN SOYMILK AT HOME, SEE THIS SITE:
SOY MILK IS NOT RELATED TO COWS WHATSOEVER.
IT’S EXCELLENT IN PROTEIN AND HAS NO CHOLESTEROL.
