sugar good 4 u
as well every other food but there got to be a limit to your daily intake

Both. On a scale of 1 to 5 i would give refined sugar a 4.5 rating in terms of how harmful it is to the human body. Sugar cane and raw sugar is a little better as it hasnt been processed.
A diet high in sugar is responsible for diabetes and a host of other conditions and it can also aggravate the symptoms.

well. depending on how much is consumed. sugar isnt all that bad.

sugar= glucose
glucose=energy
energy=being able to do stuff

Sugar does not cause or aggravate diabetes. There is no food that causes diabetes.
All carbohydrates become a form of sugar during the digestive process. The body does not care if the sugar is from Frosted Flakes, a grapefruit, a potato, rice, an apple, or a bowl of pasta – during digestion it’s all broken down and converted into a form of sugar. However, there is some difference in the speed of which these things break down and hit the blood stream (this is what the glycemic index describes).
FYI: diabetic people can eat sugar, but have to be mindful of all carbs that they eat at any meal. For a diabetic, pasta and rice are as much of an issue as a pack of M&M,s!

sugar doesnt cause diabetes

obesity, lack of exercise and family history of diabetes can cause diabetes

Very harmful, Sugar is in all food u name it it have it so u dont need more sugar ,but if u have diabetes and u are low u need it

To the NORMAL person it is NOT harmful at all.
To the diabetic, it can be fatal.

Eating sugar does NOT CAUSE diabetes, but eating sugar will aggravate diabetes in any one who is not taking effective treatments.

The purpose of digestion is to convert ALL of the food you eat into blood sugar, carbon dioxide, and water. Now some foods, like proteins (meat, fish) have other purposes too, but the MAIN purpose of digestion is to put sugar in the blood.

Sugar in the blood is what your body uses for “fuel”. Blood sugar is NEEDED for growth and healing. A special HORMONE is needed to allow the sugar to pass from the blood into the cells. this hormone is called INSULIN.

if your body does not have enough insulin, then thesugar canNOT pass from the blood into the cells. So the amount of sugar in the blood goes higher and higher. And everytime you eat, it just gets worse.

At the same time, you cells, having no sugar, are STARVING. So they generate chemical signals to tell your body to EAT! This is the “hunger signal”. So even if you are eating like a pig, your cells think they are starving, and they signal you to EAT MORE! Eat more means more sugar in the blood . . . .

And sugar in the blood damages EVERYTHING — nerves, brain, eyes, lungs, heart, kidneys, intestines, even your sex organs! When the nerves die, they cause pain and tingling in the hands and feet, called NEUROPATHY. Diabetic damage to the brain often leads to Senile Dementia and Alzheimers Disease. Many diabetics suffer from blindness, pneumonia, strokes, heart attacks, and kidney failure. they have “digestive problems” including “explosive diarrhea” and severe constipation — often both at the same time.

And diabetes if the Number One casue of Erectile Dysfunction (problems achieving or maintaining an erection) in men, and if the diabetes is left untreated the result in Impotency — inability to achieve orgasm.

Diabetes canNOT be cured. it can ONLY be treated. the Good News is that IF the diabetic STRICTLY follows doctor’s orders, then most of the effects of diabetes (heart attacks, strokes, blindness, ED) can be completely avoided.

The SECRET is to PREVENT diabetes. Diabetes is a lifestyle problem, caused by eating a poor diet and failing to get enough exercise. the result is weight gain.

So start NOW to control your diet. eat a HEALTHY diet that is low in suagrs and carbohydrates, high in fibers, and consistent in proteins. GET MORE EXERCISE. At least WALK 2 miles a day. Play some sports if you can. Swim, or ride a bike.

Maintain a healthy weight, Ask you doctor what your “ideal” weight is, and do what is necessary to stay there.

Well sugar does give your body energy but try to eat natural sugars like honey and fruit instead of processed sugar like candy. Natural sugars are more easier to digest than processed sugar. But really if u eat too much processed sugar, your body will either store it as fat or burn off the energy when u are hyper.
