How do you make sesame seeds stick to the flour during and after cooking?

Every time I cook a desert or food that requires sesame seeds on the outside, it falls off during the process of the cooking, and when you try to eat it, wasting a lot of money.

Is there a way to prevent this by making the sesame seeds stick to the flour?

Try brushing the surface of the food with egg yolk or milk before putting the seeds on.

use an egg wash using 1 egg with 1 Tbs. water. scramble the egg with the water and lightly brush the mixture over the bread or other dish you are preparing, if possible then sprinkle the sesame seeds over the wet item. let this set on the counter for about 5 minutes before baking or steaming, as in Dim Sum for example.
